After three years at Catawba College, I graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with a minor in dance! My time at Catawba was marked by academic rigor, leadership among my peers, theatrical excellence, and a dedication to making a change both on campus and in the Salisbury community. I was a member of the honors program and wrote a senior thesis about inequity in access to high quality arts education in the U.S. I performed in seven shows while at Catawba, as well as 11 choir concerts, four showcases, my own senior recital, a student directed 10-minute scene, a student directed one-act, and a musical revue. I also composed, costume designed, and choreographed for Catawba's theatrical productions. For the Blue Masque Society, I served as the Chair of Service & Community Outreach, Social Chair, and finally Vice President. I also led the effort to bring my campus' chapter of Alpha Psi Omega back from hiatus, and served as President. I was also a member of Phi Epsilon, an academic and leadership honors organization. While I am heartbroken to be leaving, I am so excited to see what comes next!
